 Kings
County -- better known to most people as Brooklyn, NY
-- is divided into 21 State Assembly Districts. Each
of these ADs elects a GOP State Committeeman and State
Committeewoman, more popularly known as District Leaders.
 These local leaders organize Republican
efforts at the grassroots level, sponsor a local GOP
Club, and recruit Republican candidates, volunteers,
and Election Inspectors.
State Committee men and women
also meet and vote on statewide issues when the State
Republican Committee convenes.
