Republican Chairman Craig Eaton has announced a major drive
to recruit local County Committee members for the Brooklyn
GOP.
"We need one Republican voter on each block to step forward and join
us," said Eaton.
County Committee membership is free and there are no requirements for enrolled Republican voters, other than an interest in and support for the Republican Party.
Committee members choose the Party's Brooklyn officers
at the 2-hour County Convention, to be held this October.
"It's like being the GOP leader of your block or in your building," said
Chairman Eaton.

Each year, political parties must
collect signatures from 5% of the voters in their
districts in order for their candidates to be listed
on the ballot.
Signing a petition does not obligate
you to vote for anyone; it merely allows candidates
to appear on the voting machines so you and other
voters will have a choice on Election Day.

The County Republican Party
recommends thousands of local Republicans
to work as Inspectors at polling sites
on Primary and Election Day each year.
No experience is necessary, and the pay
is $460 for two days work, plus attending
training and passing a short test.
